As we are a COVIDSafe business, certain protocols and requirements have had to be implemented so that we can continue to offer treatments and advice.
Effective Monday 25 October 2021, Lotus Natural Health & Wellness will be re-opening for routine care
As always, practitioner and patient safety is foremost in all that Lotus Natural Health & Wellness stands for and as such, current clinical processes require us to have a COVIDSafe Business Plan. This Plan is reviewed regularly so that it is current with up-to-date Public Health requirements and guidelines.
The below mentioned policies are about trust and respect to all persons that come inside the clinic premises and at no time is it my intent to discriminate but non compliance with the current Public Health guidelines can result in enforcement of the current guidelines, fines being issued or being shut down.
FACE MASKS – are recommended to be worn by both the practitioner and patient whilst inside the clinic premises. This will be reviewed regularly and will reflect the current Public Health guidelines as at that date.
HAND SANITISER – a touchless hand sanitiser station is located near the reception desk for you to use upon entry and exit from the clinic premises. Additional hand sanitiser pumps are located in the treatment room and the bathroom. It is a requirement that you sanitiser your hands upon initial entry into the clinic premises. This will be reviewed regularly and will reflect the current Public Health guidelines as at that date.
APPOINTMENTS – as of Monday 25 October 2021, appointments are on a booking only basis either through phoning the clinic direct or the online booking system. This will be reviewed regularly and will reflect the current Public Health guidelines as at that date.
CLEANING OF THE TREATMENT ROOM, BATHROOM & RECEPTION AREA – in line with the Victorian Government’s requirements, after each appointment ends, 30mins is allocated to clean with viroclean solution, wipe dry and sanitise all surfaces that have been in contact with the previous patient. Surfaces regularly cleaned are: treatment table, patient chair, treatment room light switch, treatment room door handles, main bathroom amenitites, reception counter, entry (front and rear) door handles. This will be reviewed regularly and will reflect the current Public Health guidelines as at that date.
TREATMENT ROOM VENTILATION – a requirement for all indoor services is that fresh air is to flow freely throughout the clinic premises. As the treatment room does not have a window, an air purifier is required to be used to filter the air. When the clinic premises is being utilised at the same time as patients attending for their booked appointments, the treatment room door is to be closed. When Lotus Natural Health & Wellness is the only business utilising the clinic premises at the time of the booked appointment, the treatment room door is required to be open to assist with ventilation. The rear entry door is to be opened after each booked appointment to allow fresh air to flow freely throughout the clinic premises. This will be reviewed regularly and will reflect the current Public Health guidelines as at that date.
SOCIAL DISTANCING – all persons attending the clinic premises are required to adhere to the 1.5m social distancing requirements. This will be reviewed regularly and will reflect the current Public Health guidelines as at that date.
APPOINTMENT CANCELLATIONS OR APPOINTMENT NO SHOWS – all cancellations on the day of the patient’s booked appointment or if a patient fails to attend for their booked appointment, the patient will receive an invoice for 100% of the booked appointment fee. This policy is applied without discrimination.
I understand that lockdowns are/can be extremely hard on individuals but for Lotus Natural Health & Wellness to reopen and stay open so that you can attend for your consultations and treatments, all the abovementioned policies are required to be followed and adhered to. Failure to comply can have serious implications for Lotus Natural Health & Wellness to be open from being enforced to comply to the current Public Health guidelines, being issued with a significant fine or being closed down until the clinic has been assessed as having become compliant.
If you have any queries or concerns with regard to the above policies, please do not hesitate to discuss these with me.
